Basic Functions

Assesses the physical and psychosocial status of patients by means of interview, health history, physical examination and diagnostic tests. Interprets the data, develops and implements a plan of treatment, follows through on a continuum of patient care across the health-illness continuum and lifespan within protocols set forth and approved by both the mid-level practitioner and the supervising physicians.

This position will be the healthcare provider serving the employees and employees' families for one of LMC's community business partners. This NP role will mainly provide primary and episodic care on site at the partnered facility.


Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of SC Evidence of certification by an appropriate nationally recognized credentialing organization.

Medical Office Technician - Certified Medical Assistant

Basic Functions

Position provides assistance to patients and providers with direct and indirect patient care. Medical Office Technician/Certified Medical Assistant works under the direction of the clinical provider and office manager.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited CAAHEP or ABHES Certified Medical Assistant course & registry by American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or the American Medical Technologists (AMT).
  • General knowledge or medical ethics and confidentiality.
  • Zero to six months experience under the supervision of a physician in a clinical medical office setting with phlebotomy and medication administration.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical terminology.
  • Basic first aid knowledge and current CPR certification.
